The Aide prepares patients for Radiology examinations by greeting, screening, changing, completing and reviewing paperwork as well as assisting Radiology Tech with patient transfers, positioning and room cleanliness.Responsibilities/Duties:Knowledge of MRI & X-ray safety protocolsPerforms detailed pre-procedure patient screenings for MRI SafetyProtects patients, self, and other staff from radiation hazardsPreparing patients for radiology procedures - changed into gowns/shorts, shoes and jewelry removedUnderstands provider's orders and requestsBrings patients to MRI/X-ray rooms and escorts patients back to changing rooms or exam roomsCleans, maintains, and makes minor adjustments to radiographic equipment, including determining equipment repairsMaintains required records including patient records, daily logbooks, and monthly reportsAssures a clean, stocked work area by maintaining MRI & X-ray rooms, and workstations.Assist in maintaining an on-time patient schedulePerform additional duties as assignedCompliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.QualificationsWho you are:Qualifications:Discretion to work with confidential informationHigh school diploma or equivalent required; prior healthcare experience is preferred but not mandatory.Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Knowledge of HIPAA RegulationsPertinent job-related experience and Medical TerminologyWhat we offer:Excellent growth and advancement opportunitiesDynamic environmentAccess to a diverse network of practitionersBroad infrastructure of tools and programs to enhance the employee experienceCompetitive CompensationGenerous PTOBenefits package: health, dental, vision, 401(k), etc.We are an equal-opportunity employer.
