Responsibilities Support with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems troubleshooting and repairs to support a site. Generate required reports and other paperwork. Learn how to recognize occurrences of wind turbine error codes and appropriately report the issue. Assist in all areas of site operations. Assist with high‑voltage system maintenance and repair. Perform routine preventive maintenance on wind turbines. Perform unscheduled maintenance consisting of troubleshooting on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices. Demonstrate the ability to learn advanced troubleshooting and repair of the wind turbines. Establish and maintain general safety from the system / Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO). Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (associate degree is a bonus). Valid driver’s license. Ability to read and interpret documents, and follow instructions such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to deal with problems involving at least one concrete variable in standardized situations. Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug/alcohol screening. Capability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Capability to free climb 300 ft multiple times a day while wearing 25 + lbs. of climbing gear and work in extreme weather conditions. Ability to rescue teammates anywhere in the tower in the event of an emergency. Must be physically fit to comply with required safety and rescue equipment limits (maximum personal body weight 260 lbs). Benefits 401(k) with immediately vested, generous company match.
