Snapshot of Your Day The Field Service Technician reports into the Grid Technology Service Substation Upgrades business. Field Service Technicians are responsible for the environmentally safe performance of in-service high voltage substations, executing technical field assignments involving the monitoring, service, and/or repair of substation equipment. They may recommend corrective measures to improve field service operations and customer service, and may be assigned other work individually or as part of a larger electrical substation or power plant project. The role requires extensive travel and non-standard schedules, with on-site presence 3 days a week (10 hrs per day) and on‑call coverage 24/7, with a 1–2 hr response time for emergencies. Technicians notify Client personnel and O&M as needed and collaborate with Siemens Engineering Subject Matter Experts on active alarms or problems. #J-18808-Ljbffr Siemens Energy
