Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 05:30 - 18:00 Hours per Shift: 7-10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: NBSTSA Must-Have: Open Heart CABG experience. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: Mixed shifts with weekends rotating. Unit Information: Cardiac Surgical Services Number of Beds: 14 Number of ORs: 14 Staff Composition: Day Shift includes a charge nurse, several RNs, CNAs, and sitters. Patient Ratios and Equipment: Specific details will be provided during hiring. Typical hiring profile focuses on Open Heart and CABG experience. Other scrub experience for ortho, neuro, and ortho spine is preferred but not required. Typical procedures performed in the unit include cardiac surgeries. Candidates with the best personality fit will be prioritized. Weekends and call may be expected. Additional unit policies and guidelines will be shared during the onboarding process.
