Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of outpatient experience for a day-shift assignment. Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting required Current BLS certification required NM state license required before start; license required if applicable Experience with charting systems required Skills in assessment, body mechanics, and orthopedic and neurologic patient care preferred Experience with home exercise programs and patient/family education preferred Responsibilities Outpatient PT clinic setting Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Treats patients referred by physicians or through direct access Works with injured worker populations, including Return to Work and post offer testing programs Performs Work Hardening Evaluations, Functional Capacity Evaluations, and ergonomic or job analysis assessments Utilizes various modalities and exercise equipment available in the clinic Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, supervising physical therapy assistants, and directing PT technicians on cleaning and organizational tasks Provides weekly updates to rehab nurses and maintains ongoing communication with referring physicians through evaluation and progress notes May assist with scheduling, answering phones, and processing referrals as needed Understanding of billing codes for various payer types required Opportunities to participate in community outreach and business development activities representing the clinic Open to first-time travelers Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-753907 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler, LLC.
