Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Opportunity
Seattle Children's is seeking a motivated and versatile Advanced Practice Provider (APP), either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or a Physician Assistant (PA), to join our growing Otolaryngology (ENT) – Head and Neck Surgery team. This role is designed for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced ambulatory environment and is passionate about providing world-class pediatric care.
The Role
As an APP in our ENT department, you will play a dual role in our clinical ecosystem:
- Independent Practice: Manage a diverse panel of patients presenting with a broad range of ENT pathologies affecting the head and neck.
- Collaborative Care: Work alongside world-renowned attending surgeons to coordinate care for children with complex medical conditions and specialized surgical needs.
Clinical Growth & Responsibilities
We value continuous learning. In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
- Master Technical Skills: Maintain proficiency in interpreting diagnostic imaging and performing specialized procedures, including binocular microscopy, foreign body removal, and cauterization.
- Drive Innovation: Contribute to departmental Quality Improvement (QI) projects and organizational performance initiatives.
- Educate & Research: Participate in meaningful research efforts and provide essential education to patients, families, and the broader healthcare team.
Location & Deployment
This is a fully clinic-based position. While your primary deployment will be at our South Clinic in Federal Way, flexibility is key; occasional coverage may be required at our Seattle and Bellevue clinics to ensure seamless patient care across the region.
