The support we provide is for the selection of equipment used in these systems with the knowledge and impact of both state and federal codes. Job Description The Warehouse Assistant assists with the daily operation of the Warehouse and provides customer service while fulfilling pick-up orders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate Forklift Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule and on-demand pickups (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) Receiving, unloading, counting, and stocking physical inventory in the warehouse Arrange appropriate transportation of products using the courier’s software Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, inventory space and workstations neat and free of hazards Data entry, scanning documents, managing spreadsheets Perform inventory as necessary Assist with building maintenance as necessary Promote a safe working environment by following all relevant OSHA and company safety policies Performs other related duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Shipping/Receiving Experience Strong customer service skills, communication skills, and attention to detail Knowledge of export/import shipment requirements is a plus Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet navigation Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner. Experience and Requirements High School degree or equivalent Read, write, and understand English Valid Forklift Certification or the ability to obtain certification at hire. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.
