The Production Operator is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations on the GPD assembly line by performing manual assembly tasks in a cleanroom environment. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to follow established manufacturing procedures and work instructions. The ideal candidate is a team player who is committed to producing high-quality products in a fast-paced production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform manual assembly operations for products and subassemblies on the GPD production line.
• Follow written work instructions, process documentation, and engineering specifications.
• Work in a cleanroom environment while adhering to gowning and contamination control requirements.
• Conduct visual inspections to verify product quality and workmanship.
• Handle materials and assemblies in accordance with ESD and quality requirements.
• Utilize hand tools and manufacturing equipment as required.
• Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with operators, technicians, engineers, and quality personnel to support production goals.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process changes as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production assembly experience.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Basic soldering experience.
• Experience with small-part assembly and hand tools.
• Familiarity with ESD handling procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work with small components and perform detailed visual inspections.

Hourly Rate: MIN $19.00 -  MAX $32.00
