Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2549.56 Opportunity: RN - MS Stroke Stepdown Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM • Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed • Floating to other units required • Scrub color: Navy Blue • Care for adult patients with common diagnoses including stroke, altered mental status, renal/dialysis conditions, COPD, CHF, isolation, general med/surg, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues • Operate specialty equipment including IV pumps, nasogastric tubes, and feeding tubes • Work within a 64-bed unit • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical/surgical with stroke stepdown experience required • Travel nursing experience required • EMR experience with EPIC required • Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIHSS (NIH certification required for this unit and can be obtained prior to start) • Active New York RN license required with NURSYS verification Facility: This healthcare organization is a well-established medical facility offering a broad range of specialized care services to its patient population.
