Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Indianapolis, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) nurse position is available in a specialized cardiac intensive care unit. This role involves caring for cardiac patients before and after surgery within a newly established, high-acuity 8-bed cardiac intensive care unit connected to a 14-bed pediatric intensive care unit. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including nights shifts, every other weekend, holidays, and on-call responsibilities. Job Details Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license (Nursys License verification), a minimum of 1 year of experience in intensive care or cardiovascular nursing, possession of professional certifications such as Ascension Resume, Ascension Profile, and two professional references. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a specialized cardiac intensive care unit (CVICU) preferred. Float: Float rotation may be required to Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Pediatric (Peds), and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Additional Information: The candidate must be available to start on 10/12/2026 and work through 01/10/2027, with the ability to provide consistent, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, specialized environment.
