Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help support security-related screening operations, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Screen individuals, packages, bags, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening guidelines. Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to shipping, receiving, and distribution areas. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or conditions that may require a security-related response. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. X‑Ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
