In this position, you will work closely on an integrated team of Cesium managers, engineers, and other cross-functional personnel. If you enjoy working in a startup environment, and are passionate about developing leading-edge electronics for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems, we would like to hear from you.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesExecuting Quality Control processes associated with purchased product, manufacturing operations, and customer quality requirements.Incoming inspection of raw materials and components using LCR metersInspection of printed circuit boards / assemblies (PCB / PCBAs), verification of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical (EEE) components, and cable assemblies.Inspection of mechanical hardware using calipers, micrometers, height gages, thread gages, and CMMs.Generate documentation of inspection activities using electronic information systems, written logs, and labels.Maintenance of monitoring and measuring equipment, maintaining the supplies, integrity, and cleanliness of QC inspection areas.Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvements of inspection methods, inspection plans, and internal quality procedures and processes.Assist in data analysis and reporting of department metrics as required.Assist with the control and disposition of non-conforming material (MRB).Drive scheduling of day-to-day processes; ensure timely and accurate turnaround.Assist with the continuous improvement initiatives.Other QC duties as assigned.Job Requirements and Minimum QualificationsAssociate degree in a technical field preferred. H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.3+ years relevant work experience or training required. 5+ years related experience without Associate degree required.Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.Experience with microscopic visual inspection.Experience with mechanical measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).Experience with ERP and PLM software systems.Proficiency with reading engineering documents, CAD drawings, and detailed work instructions.Strong digital, written, and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner.Preferred ExperienceExperience in the aerospace or electronics industry.IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 certification.CesiumAstro considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
