Applied AI/ML Data Science Lead VP

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a PhD in Computer Science or a related quantitative field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or an MS/BS in Computer Science or a related discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• We look for practical expertise with LLM projects, as well as supervised and unsupervised methods, and a proven record of deploying AI/ML applications in production.
• We expect strong programming ability in Python and SQL, with additional experience in languages such as R, Java, or similar.
• We need demonstrated experience working with large, complex datasets.
• We look for experience with ML frameworks, libraries, and APIs such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and the OpenAI API.
• We value experience incorporating user feedback to support agentic refinement and self-improving AI applications.
• We require a solid understanding of statistics and machine learning fundamentals, including classification, regression, time series, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and Transformer-based generative architectures.
• We need the ability to identify and address AI/LLM challenges, apply optimizations, and tune models for strong NLP performance.
• We expect excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

• We collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, ML engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize use cases.
• We develop GenAI and LLM solutions to address business problems.
• We implement optimization approaches to fine-tune generative models for specific GenAI use cases and improve output quality.
• We carry out the full model development workflow, including data wrangling and analysis, model training, testing, and selection.
• We generate structured insights from data analysis and modeling work and present them in a format suited to the audience.
• We communicate AI and GenAI capabilities and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• We stay current with the latest AI research, apply advanced techniques, and use external APIs to enhance functionality.
