Humble, TX 77396About Our Atascocita Location (Harris County): Alpharus Health's largest facility, Atascocita is a residential correctional center focused solely on substance use treatment for court-ordered clients. With 12 buildings and nearly 500 clients, the facility provides a structured, secure environment without armed guards. Staff work collaboratively in a team of 170, including counselors, probation officers, and support staff. The location is undergoing major renovations to become a state-of-the-art treatment center. We foster a supportive culture with team-building activities, recognition programs, and a strong mission-driven focus on recovery and rehabilitation.Work Schedule: 3rd shift - 9:30pm-6amDirect Care Monitors are responsible for:Monitoring and observing clients, ensuring their safety and well-being, and providing motivational support and guidance to assist them in meeting therapeutic goals.Reporting client observations and contributing to treatment decisions concerning therapy, discipline, and privileges.Monitoring clients in medication self-administration, collecting urine samples from clients for laboratory screening and administering breathalyzer to clients for detection of alcohol use.Supporting treatment plans by scheduling and coordinating client transportation, assisting in planning client interactive events, and so forth.Providing security for the medical building.Job Requirements:High school diploma or GEDAny and all work experience is encouraged to apply.
