Position Overview:

Associate Property Claims Representatives investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and adjust first party property claims. In this role, you will recognize our member's life events, understand their needs and provide direction in order to deliver superior outcomes and appropriate solutions. Responsibilities include:

• Claims Assessment: Conduct thorough investigations to determine coverage and the extent of property damage or loss, ensuring all aspects are accurately evaluated.
• Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with policyholders, answering their questions, and explaining the claims process in a clear and compassionate manner.
• Documentation: Accurately document all claim details, supporting evidence, and decisions in accordance with company standards.
• Evaluation: Determine coverage, assess policy limits, and establish liability, processing claims in compliance with company guidelines and industry regulations.
• Resolution: Negotiate settlements, issue payments, and expedite the resolution of claims, ensuring fair and timely compensation to policyholders.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments, including underwriting, legal, and field representatives, to ensure smooth and efficient claims processing.
• Adherence to Regulations: Stay updated on industry regulations and maintain compliance with all relevant laws and standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of claims adjusting experience.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess property damage effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Detail-oriented and proficient in accurate documentation.
• Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office suite.
