Clinical Nurse II - 0.9 - Nights - PCR (Float Pool) - Mother-Baby/L&D

FTE 0.9 • Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours: 72 • Work shift: Night 12 hours Job Description Applies nursing process and theories, as well as principles of psycho‑social and physical sciences, in assessing, planning, diagnosing, implementing, evaluating, and modifying patient care. Strives for quality outcomes and innovative practice in accordance with the California Nursing Practice Act and the hospital/departmental policies. Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self (or others under his/her direction) and for delivery of care consistent with the ANA Code of Ethics and the ANA Bill of Rights for Nursing. Provides care in a collaborative manner with other disciplines to ensure optimal, individualized patient care and outcomes. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Experience in PCR (Mother‑Baby / L&D) and recent clinical nursing experience in area of specialty Registered Nurse license – California Board of Registered Nursing Basic Life Support – American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification – American Heart Association Neonatal Resuscitation Program – American Academy of Pediatrics Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to communicate in English and to perform potentially complex speaking, reading, writing, and mathematics. Ability to organize, prioritize and delegate appropriately. Patients Served All age groups 1 year of age or greater. Salary $89.40 – $116.78 USD per hour. Physical Requirements Medium work: requires standing the majority of the shift with the ability to lift up to 35 lbs frequently. Work involves sitting, kneeling, climbing and squatting.
