Senior Java Developer

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Senior Java Developer for their Austin, TX location.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services to support business workflows and integrations.
- Participate in application design, coding, testing, debugging, and production support activities.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
- Follow Agile development methodologies and contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and best practices.
- Work on workflow automation and process orchestration solutions using Camunda BPM (preferred; training can be provided on the job).
- Ensure application performance, security, and adherence to enterprise standards.
Requirements:
- Seeking a Senior Java Developer with 12+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise applications. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance backend solutions using Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Required Skills:
- Core Java & J2EE
- Spring Boot & Microservices
- REST API Development and Distributed Systems
- Camunda BPM experience is preferred but not mandatory; candidates with strong Java and Microservices experience can learn Camunda on the job.
- Healthcare domain experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Docker, and cloud platforms is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively with onsite and offshore teams.
