Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 40 (145 avg patients daily) Number of Staff – Approximately 110: RNs, Paramedics, EMTs, Nurse Externs, Unit Secretaries Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 CNC, 6 RN’s, 2 EMT/Paramedics, Unit Secretary Mid Shift- 4 Mid Shift RNs, 1 Mid Shift Paramedic, 1 Throughput RN, 1 EMS Coordinator Night Shift – 1 CNC, 6 RN’s, 2 EMT/Paramedics, Unit Secretary Patient Ratios – 4:1 Type of equipment – IV Pumps, EKG machines, U/S machines, Belmont, Lifepack, GE Transport Monitors EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1-2 years current acute care ED RN experience BLS, ALS, NIH, PALS, TNCC & ENPCCPI Blue card Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Trauma level 1 or level 2 experience Prior Meditech experience CPI List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Rapid assessment (ESI Triage), Comprehensive nursing assessment, focused reassessments, pain assessment and management, Sepsis screening and interventions, Stroke screening and interventions, trauma level 1 & 2 activations and interventions, MCI response, blood administration, procedural sedation, pediatric emergency care, behavioral health crisis intervention Vital sign monitoring, EKG, defibrillation, IV insertion, blood collection, blood culture collection, Medication administration, assisting with sutures/staples-wound care, splinting
