Service Technician

Service Technician Location: Salt Lake City, UT Rate of Pay: $45–$55 Category: Maintenance Job Type: Full-Time Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure efficient operation. Diagnose issues, replace parts, and perform system upgrades for assigned work tickets. Respond to emergency calls and provide full commitment at all hours with advanced problem‑solving skills covering equipment, valves, wiring, and control systems. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including maintenance schedules, repair logs, and parts inventories. Offer client training and support to ensure proper operation and maintenance of Clauger systems. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and peers regarding operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Clauger equipment. Ensure work is carried out in accordance with industry regulations and safety standards. Stay up to date with latest developments in Clauger technology and industry best practices to continually improve service quality and efficiency. Work unsupervised or with limited instruction. Manage truck inventory and job toolboxes, adhering to vehicle maintenance program guidelines. Position Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Pass physical examination and Respirator Fit Testing. Travel up to 25% of the time. Availability to be on call nights and/or weekends as required. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team with strong attention to detail. Physical strength to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, work at high elevations, and lift up to 75 pounds. Basic computer skills for electronic documentation. Experience and Technical Competency All Clauger service technicians must meet base technical competency requirements. Clauger offers four levels of technician based on technical competency.
