About the Role:
North Point Senior Homecare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Caregiver to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors in a home care setting
• Monitor and document client health status and report changes to supervisors
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• Support clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
• Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management per care plan
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities as needed

Requirements:

• Current Virginia Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred
• Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a related caregiving environment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Physically able to assist with lifting, transferring, and supporting clients
