Caregiver / Home Care Aide (Cerebral Palsy Experience Preferred)

Immediate opening for caregivers in Sunnyvale. 8am-5pm shift. Hiring for all days. Female preference, for intimate personal care. Prefer caregivers with experience in: Toileting, Bathing, Hoyer Lift, Safe Transfers, Meal Prep, Feeding, Stretching, and/or Non-Speaking clients.

Caregiver Pay Range $21 - $25 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Monitor and report changes in clients' well-being or behavior
• Follow care plans and safety protocols
• Assist with medication reminders
• Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments as needed
• Foster independence and promote social interaction

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience required
• Must register as a Home Care Aide with CDSS
• 18 years old and a High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance are required
• Ability to pass a live scan background check and drug screening
• CPR certification
• TB test or chest x-ray
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
