Sr Scientist, Inflammation Biomarkers and Translational Research

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end biomarker strategy for clinical programs from translational research through Phase I-III registrational studies
Define and implement pharmacodynamic, MOA, prognostic, predictive biomarkers including assay qualification and vendor management
Serve as biomarker lead for cross-functional teams, providing scientific direction and risk assessment
Design and oversee human-relevant translational studies using primary samples and conduct responder analyses
Integrate multi-omic and clinical datasets to generate insights and inform program decisions

Requirements

PhD or MD/PhD in Immunology, Inflammation Biology, Translational Medicine, or related field
5–8+ years post-doctoral and industry experience with biomarker strategy leadership
Strong publication and/or patent record in scientific research
Deep expertise in human immunology, inflammation, and fibrotic disease biology
Proven experience designing and implementing clinical biomarker strategies with assay validation
Effective communicator able to influence cross-functional teams and contribute to regulatory documents
Proactive problem-solver with hands-on and strategic perspective

Compensation: $169,320–$219,120 base
