Farm - Forest Manager
Reynolds Homestead in the Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation at the College of Natural Resources & Environment is currently searching for a Farm-Forest Manager to support the Reynold Homestead FRRC in development, installation and completion of projects and maintenance of facilities.
Knowledge of forest management, forest biology, plant ID (especially trees), and ecosystem relationships. Ability to read and understand complex instructions relating to research; ability to pay attention to detail and keep accurate records; ability to set priorities; work independently and follow schedules; Exhibit mechanical, electrical and plumbing knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair equipment failures; knowledge of farm machinery and skill with power tools; ability to be a team player; previous forestry or related research experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience.
The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check.
