Respiratory Therapist
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Rotating weekends included based on staffing needs)
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in various critical care settings, ensuring a high standard of patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic testing, including ABG procedures.
- Manage ventilators, including V60, Hamilton C1, PB40, and PB980 models.
- Perform nitric management and bronchoscopy assistance.
- Assist with intubation and nebulization treatments.
- Deliver high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) therapy.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have CRT or RRT certification.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- ICU experience is a must; CVICU experience preferred.
- Experience with nitric therapy is a plus.
