Animal Health Pharmacist

Job Title

Compound non-sterile pharmaceutical preparations, including but not limited to the compounding of capsules, tablets, oral liquids and topical medications. Compound medications, fill and label prescriptions, and package medications - in other words, full-service compounding from chemicals to packaging. Counsel clients on different medications, needs, usages, and instructions. Keep accurate records and monitor inventory levels in accordance with USP 795, State Board of Pharmacy regulations and company policies and procedures. Collaborate with the development team to provide guidance on product features, participating in sales activities such as calling or visiting veterinary clinics. Perform Care Pharmacist duties on an as needed basis

Qualifications

Licensed pharmacist in NY, in good standing with all State Boards of Pharmacy. Formal training in non-sterile compounding or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience in non-sterile compounding, with preference given to veterinary compounding experience. Impeccable attention to detail, with high standards for accuracy and quality. Collaborative and desire to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, startup environment
