Distribution Center Assistant

Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. PURPOSE OF POSITION: A Distribution Center Assistant is responsible for processing incoming shipments and executing the daily restocking of merchandise for the resort's retail stores.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prioritize orders to process based on label information
• Count and perform quality control on all items in each order
• Receive merchandise on computer system and print barcode labels
• Verify receiving log with invoice to ensure accuracy from both the vendor and our PO
• Tag each item with its corresponding barcode/hangtag label
• Backstock merchandise in designated area
• Pull and transfer merchandise for all stores using daily restocking reports
• Transfer merchandise on the computer system to individual store locations
• Prepare transfer tubs for each store and place in designated area for expediter pick-up
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous retail/warehouse experience preferred
• Previous experience in the ski industry preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Proficient with basic technology (Point of Sale system, Microsoft Office, Teams)
• Continuous mobility throughout the warehouse, including twisting, bending, pulling, pushing, crouching, stooping, and reaching during shift
• Must be able to lift and carry up at least 40lbs
• Must be able to use a ladder
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Must be at least 21 years old

DATES OF EMPLOYMENT:

• 11/1/2026 4/20/2027
• Part Time (20 hours a week)

PAY RATE:

• $20.00 per hour
