Registered Nurse - NICU

Location: Kennewick, WA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the NICU will provide specialized care for infants in need of critical attention. This role includes monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in the NICU.
• Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide emotional support and education to families.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in the state of Washington.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a NICU setting.
• Cross-training in OB units is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
