We take pride in our continued success and are seeking the best people to join our company. About This Position We are currently seeking an Estimator . This individual would be responsible for generating project cost estimates for the Sales department. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assembles relevant documents to be used in the estimating process to include: proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Assists in the development of the proposal. Develop field equipment bills of material and associated costs. Develop control panel listings and associated costs. Assist in estimating engineering services. Identifies specific products and/or services to be excluded. Obtain written accurate quotation from vendor and subcontractor, including price, terms, condition and delivery. Understand and communicate bid deadlines internally and to contributing supplier and sub-contractors. Attend pre-bid meetings and visit job sites as required. COMPETENCIES Proficient with office software (e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel) Ability to work independently Ability to complete work accurately and by a deadline Ability to perform calculations required to size components Ability to manage and track multiple project estimates Strong communication and organizational skills Knowledge of industrial controls Knowledge of industry design standards and specifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE An associate’s degree in engineering with one-year related experience with a minimum of two years’ related experience with college instruction in a related field.
