Electronics Technical Specialist

Pay range: $16.50 $22.50/hr (Based on experience and shift)

Shift availability:

1st Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (MonFri) | $16.50 $19.00/hr

2nd Shift: 3:30 PM 12:00 AM (MonFri) | $19.00 $22.50/hr (Upcoming)

Position Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented, tech-savvy individuals for a seated Technical Specialist role. Unlike a standard warehouse, you will have your own individual workstation equipped with a computer and diagnostic tools. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues with a variety of consumer electronics, including cellphones, laptops, and small home technology appliances.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting: Use onsite computer systems to look up product specs and diagnostic guides to identify hardware or software issues.
• Testing & Grading: Evaluate the functionality and cosmetic condition of returned or trade-in electronics.
• Technical Processing: Follow step-by-step procedures to "triage" devices, ensuring they are ready for refurbishment or resale.
• Data Integrity: Ensure all personal data is professionally wiped from devices following strict security protocols.

Candidate Requirements

• Resume & Interview: This client requires a professional resume and a formal interview.
• Technical Literacy: Must be comfortable navigating computer software to research product issues.
• Focus & Patience: This is a seated position for the full 8-hour shift. We are looking for candidates who can maintain high focus at an individual workstation.
• Communication: Candidates must be responsive to emails and texts to coordinate the client interview process.

Site Environment

Climate-Controlled: A clean, professional, and temperature-controlled facility.

Stationary Work: You will work at your own designated metal desk; minimal heavy lifting involved.

Security & Electronics: To protect client data and high-value tech, personal electronics/phones are not permitted on the production floor.
