Warehouse Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for conducting various materials or inventory control functions in support of the companys production and customer requirements, including, but not limited to, shipping, receiving, proper warehousing of materials, and inventory management.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong internal working relationships across operations, supply chain, and customer service.
• Understand the objectives, responsibilities, and mission of the operations department and work towards those goals.
• Prioritize and plan work activities; adapt for changing conditions.
• Responsible for proper inventory storage and accuracy through proper controlling of receipts/issuances.
• Accurately and timely receive all materials in a timely basis per the established restor3d guidelines.
• Properly bag, tag, label inventory, and practice proper FIFO stock rotation, in a manner to ensure GMP compliance at all times.
• Package and ship material between plants as well as to and from suppliers as required by the production schedule.
• Track/expedite critical shipments from suppliers and other plants.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound logistical services (courier, Delta, FedEx, etc.) as required.
• Coordinate shipments of materials to suppliers (both materials for contract manufacturing and Return To Vendor).
• Coordinate the putting away or distribution of materials to the manufacturing floor and within the inventory storage locations.
• Maintain organization of inventory storage locations.
• Interface with all departments to ensure that all inventory/material requests are filled in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date material status reports as required.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventories adjustments as required (monthly, weekly, and/or quarterly) to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assist in the set-up/implementation of new tools/systems/methodology to improve/enhance inventory accuracy and service levels.
• Assist in the review/resolution of accounts payable/receivable invoice discrepancies, to ensure timely resolution
• Evaluate/propose enhancement to current materials handling/storage/flow process to ensure timely availability to the production floor in a GMP compliant manner.
• Update business processes as necessary by internal changes.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years experience in a shipping/receiving preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles and processes preferred.
• Familiar with ISO Standards and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Proficient in various MS Office applications.
• Able to work flexible and/or extended hours and weekends as business demands.
• Experience with SAP preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to bend at the knees, reach above, pull, and push up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed, and to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to operate a pallet stacker and move pallets around the manufacturing floor with ease.
• Be present in the office and on the manufacturing floor 100% of the time.
