The Health Information Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the operations of the Health Information Department by ensuring accurate and timely maintenance of both electronic and paper client records. This position exists to uphold confidentiality standards, assist in documentation quality control, and facilitate record accessibility for audits, staff, and regulatory compliance.
