Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: Lawrenceville, GA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8-hour Day Shift

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic clinic. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient care, managing a diverse patient population with orthopedic conditions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow in a supportive environment with a focus on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Conduct therapy sessions and assist patients through rehabilitative exercises.
• Manage up to 60 visits per week, with 12-14 patients per day.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Outpatient experience is preferred.
• No acceptance of PTA or new grads.
• Overtime must be pre-approved by the director.
