Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit serving an adolescent to geriatric patient population
• Monitor patients via remote telemetry and manage a range of medical surgical diagnoses
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:6 on a 38-bed unit with an average daily census of 33
• Document accurately and communicate effectively using Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR protocols
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as operationally needed
• Adhere to holiday and weekend scheduling requirements, including every-other-weekend rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR communication framework
• Ability to meet full compliance requirements prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical setting with telemetry monitoring
• Familiarity with a broad patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics
• Previous travel nursing experience in a similar acute care environment
