What You'll Do as a MIG Welder
You'll be responsible for producing high-quality welds on material handling and safety products while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Set up welding fixtures and assemble parts using tools and tape measures
- Perform MIG welding on beams, braces, and connectors
- Complete tack welds, full welds, and touch-ups to quality standards
- Adjust wire feed, heat, and gas flow to meet job specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Successfully pass a hands-on welding test
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Previous MIG welding experience or formal training
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow work instructions
- Strong attendance and dependable work ethic
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality craftsmanship
- Ability to pass a welding test
