Production Coordinator

We are seeking a Production Coordinator to help keep production running smoothly in a fast‑paced environment. This role manages daily production schedules, monitors work orders, communicates shifting priorities, and partners across teams to ensure customer deadlines are met. Shift Start time: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities Plan and manage daily production schedules based on fluctuating customer demand, order volume, and deadlines. Communicate real‑time changes in prioritization clearly and promptly to all appropriate team members and departments. Monitor active work orders across the production floor, identifying and resolving stalled, delayed, or blocked orders. Coordinate the release and tracking of expedited work orders to the production floor, ensuring timely fulfillment. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of customer products, standard lead times, active promotions, and fulfillment requirements. Proactively flag capacity constraints, material shortages, or scheduling conflicts to leadership before they impact deadlines. Champion continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and suggesting actionable solutions. Perform other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications. High school diploma or GED required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Clear and confident communicator—comfortable interfacing with team members at all levels. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Detail‑oriented with a problem‑solving mindset and a proactive approach to challenges. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
