About the Role We are currently seeking talent for Dishwashers at Green Lemon Soho. The Dishwashers are responsible for sorting and rinsing dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils. Your job will revolve around proper and efficient sanitation and ensuring cleanliness. Day-to-day tasks include sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash and boxes, and carrying clean dishes to the cook’s line and other proper storage areas. Responsibilities Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass and other cooking utensils. Sweep and mop floors, and take out trash and boxes. Carry clean dishes to cooks line and proper storage areas. Properly set up, break down and clean your station. Wash dishes thoroughly for kitchen staff with a sense of urgency. Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness, and the safety of the restaurant. Perform additional responsibilities (as requested) at any time. Team player with a good attitude and works with a sense of urgency. Reliable transportation to and from work. Can work in both hot and cool environments. Able to lift at least 20 pounds and frequently squat and bend. Self‑accountable in upholding high standards. Able to work in a fast‑paced setting for up to 8 hours daily, or as needed.
