Our full-time employees also have access to medical, dental, vision, and other insurance options.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAREHOUSE WORKERThis position is responsible for receiving, picking, packing, and shipping products, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy and a safe, organized warehouse. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damagePick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment following company standardsLoad and unload delivery trucks using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacksOrganize stock and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle countsOperate warehouse equipment safely and efficientlyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all timesAdhere to all safety policies and proceduresAssist with other general warehouse duties as assignedWORK SCHEDULE - PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYINGWe have two openings for this position, each with a different set schedule:Shift 1: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PMShift 2: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PMPlease apply only if you are able to reliably commit to one of these schedules.QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalentExperience with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel & WordStrong attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlinesPrevious warehouse or distribution experience is a plus.Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularlyFamiliarity with inventory systems and handheld scanners is a plusForklift certification or willingness to obtain one is preferredAbility to follow instructionsGood communication and teamwork skillsMust be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods1-2 years of warehouse experience, preferredThis job operates in a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to inside ambient temperatures. Noise level may be high when operating powered industrial equipment.
