Data Engineer/Developer

Data Engineer / DeveloperDesign and develop high-quality, scalable, and efficient data solutions.Support end-to-end data engineering initiatives and data transformation efforts.Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and data transformations.Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using DBT or similar technologies.Support data warehousing initiatives, including data modeling and data quality practices.Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues across the data lifecycle.Create and support unit testing efforts to ensure solution accuracy.Document enhancements and opportunities for process improvement.Collaborate effectively with Agile teams to deliver business solutions.Required SkillsSQL Development (3+ Years)Strong SQL experience developing and optimizing complex data transformations and queries.Data Warehousing (3+ Years)Experience with data warehousing concepts including:Data modelingETL/ELT processesData quality management and best practicesCloud Data Platforms (3+ Years)Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse technologies.Required Technology ExperienceSnowflakeDBT (preferred)PythonControl-M or similar workflow orchestration/job scheduling toolsRequired ExperienceExperience independently delivering at least 2-3 mid-sized to large development projects.Ability to support data engineering solutions from design through deployment.Experience troubleshooting complex data and integration issues.Strong collaboration skills within Agile development environments.Experience driving technical tasks and meeting project objectives.Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud-based data platforms.Strong understanding of data transformation best practices.Exposure to workflow orchestration and scheduling tools.Ability to work effectively in fast-paced delivery environments.
