Job Title: Production Associate – 2nd Shift (East Moline, IL)

Job Description

This role is a hands-on warehouse and production position focused on preparing copper tubing and pipe for shipment to major retail customers. You will work across various departments, including cell operations, saw operation, receiving, shipping, and work order processing, to ensure products are accurately pulled, protected, labeled, and packaged for safe and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs, tasks, and projects throughout the warehouse in an accurate and timely manner.

• Move pipe to designated pick locations to support order fulfillment.

• Pull work orders for copper tubing and pipe according to customer specifications and shipping requirements.

• Apply barcodes and labels to pipe to ensure correct identification and tracking.

• Bundle and wrap pipe securely to prepare it for safe handling and transport.

• Cut pipe according to cut sheets and work orders, following all safety and quality guidelines.

• Experience in production or general labor roles in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

• Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively for cutting, wrapping, and bundling materials.

• Basic machine operating skills, particularly in saw operation and related equipment.

• Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading trucks.

• Ability to perform assembly, labeling, and packaging tasks with attention to detail.

• Capability to handle physical tasks such as moving, lifting, loading, and unloading pipe and tubing.

• Basic inventory awareness to support pulling orders and moving materials to correct locations.

• Reliability in following work orders and cut sheets accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness to be cross-trained across multiple warehouse and production departments.

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different tasks within 1–3 weeks of training.

• Comfort working with barcoding and labeling systems for product identification.

• Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting production and shipping deadlines.

• Attention to safety procedures when operating tools, handling materials, and working around equipment.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the production team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
