Sterile Processing Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Mid 5x8-Hour shift from 14:00 to 22:30. Weekend coverage is required.

We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper sterilization and preparation of surgical instruments and supplies. You will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance protocols and sterile processing standards.
• Collaborate with surgical staff to coordinate instrument needs for procedures.
• Participate in departmental training and orientation programs.
• Maintain meticulous records of sterilization cycles and equipment maintenance.
• Possibly float between campuses as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sterile processing role.
• Certification from CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA required.
• First-time travelers accepted with the minimum experience requirement.
