Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various psychiatric disorders. This role requires a strong understanding of behavioral health, addiction,counseling, and PTSD care, along with the ability to maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. The Psychiatrist will work as consultation and Liason in hospital settings, providing care that promotes recovery and enhances the quality of life for individuals facing mental health challenges.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose mental health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Medication management as appropriate.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.

Experience

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with a specialization in Psychiatry.
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry is preferred.
• Familiarity with PTSD care, behavioral health practices, and addiction counseling techniques is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in psychiatric practice.
