The fleet vehicle mechanic is responsible for:

• The accurate and timely repair and maintenance of club fleet owned vehicles and customer vehicles, including passenger vehicles and light and medium-duty trucks
• This includes but is not limited to: engine repair, gas and diesel, automatic transmission/transaxle diagnosis and repair, manual transmission/transaxle diagnosis and repair, suspension and steering diagnosis and repair, brakes diagnosis and repair, including ABS/traction control, electrical diagnosis and repair, heating and air conditioning diagnosis and repair, engine performance diagnosis and repair.
• Complete all paperwork, including, repair information on work orders, information for state and emission inspections, etc., with accuracy
• Verify repairs are properly completed by re-testing repaired system to ensure proper function and road tests vehicles, as necessary, to identify concerns or validate repair.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of specialized skills, and continue to develop additional technical skills, to enable flexibility in work assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you bring?

• High school graduate or equivalent, and 3+ years applicable experience as an automotive technician strongly preferred.
• National institute of automotive service excellence (ASE) in at least 2 categories or the equivalent manufacturer certification and experience with the ability to attain the required certifications within 12 months of hire.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Satisfactory pre-and post-employment screening results, including criminal, drug and motor vehicle screening and passing a physical examination required by the department of transportation.
• Proficient knowledge with PC-based automotive computer equipment and software applications.
• Ability to operate passenger vehicles and light- and medium-duty trucks with automatic and manual transmissions
