Job Title: Quality Technician B Job Code: 38668 Location: Cincinnati, OH Schedule: 4/10 Monday‑Thursday (10 hour days, 4 days per week) Job Description Responsible for performing Certification review for highly complex mechanical parts, Mil‑spec electronics and PWB components. The role reviews First Article documentation of incoming material to meet quality assurance provisions, Mil specs, customer requirements, specific material requirements and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing conformance to outlined quality assurance and contractual requirements, assisting in evaluating test data and material requirements, identifying deficiencies and collaborating with Program Quality, Supplier Quality, and Procurement to recommend compliance and acceptance based on certification review. The position routinely supports and interfaces with Supplier Quality, Program Quality, and Procurement. Essential Functions Performs detailed review of documentation including FAI’s, engineering drawing requirements, and conformance to precise specifications. Performs review of key product/process characteristics per contractual requirements. Verifies sampling plans, COC’s, material certifications and part revision levels. Uses established guidelines and quality assurance provisions to ensure compliance. Communicates quality requirement deficiencies and documentation concerns to the appropriate quality support (QE / SQE) team. Interacts with RI, Supplier Quality, Program Quality and Procurement as necessary. Qualifications Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience, OR 2 years post‑secondary/Associate’s Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. 2 years or more experience with and knowledge of engineering drawings and manufacturing standards. 4 years or more experience in a technical environment related to required skill sets, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. 4 years or more experience working both independently and in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment. 2 years or more experience related to certification review. Preferred Additional Skills Experience in TIPQA WEB data management software. Experience working with MIL‑STD drawings and requirements. Experience with AS9100 requirements. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Knowledge of Costpoint software. Please be aware many of our positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
