Clinical Scope
Anesthesiologists provide anesthesia services across a comprehensive surgical program while supervising CRNAs in a medically directed care model.
Case mix includes:

• General Surgery
• Orthopedic Surgery
• Obstetrics
• Urology
• ENT
• Gynecology
• Endoscopy
• Pulmonary Procedures
• Major Vascular Surgery
• Cardiology Procedures
• Podiatric Surgery
• Outpatient Surgical Services

Physicians practice both independently and within a collaborative anesthesia care team supporting a busy regional referral center.

Practice Environment
This established regional medical center offers a modern perioperative environment featuring:

• Epic EMR
• Collaborative anesthesia department
• Approximately 13 anesthetizing locations
• Diverse surgical specialties
• CRNAs practicing under medical direction
• Regional referral surgical services
• Experienced perioperative nursing and surgical teams

Anesthesiologists divide their practice between personally performed anesthetics and medical direction responsibilities, providing an engaging and well-balanced clinical experience.

Requirements

• Active Washington Medical License
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Board certification required within four years of residency completion
• ABA Maintenance of Certification as applicable
• Current BLS and ACLS
• Comfortable practicing in both independent and medical direction roles
• Experience across a broad surgical case mix preferred
