Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in computed tomography (CT) at a healthcare organization in The Dalles, Oregon. This role involves operating CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes, as well as performing general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures. The position supports patient care across diverse age groups and ensures accurate imaging while maintaining strict confidentiality and quality standards. It is represented by OFNHP.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)); Advanced Certification in CT (required in OR and HI, preferred in CA); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Fluoroscopy license in state of employment (preferred in CA and OR); Venipuncture certification (preferred in CA and OR); Facility-specific license/certification: ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
• Additional Information: Performs clinical assessments and plans patient care for adolescents through geriatric populations. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation, utilizing PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images securely. Maintains accurate records, ensures compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality regulations, and conducts routine equipment maintenance. Manages supply inventory and performs various duties as assigned.
