Call coverage limited to call-offs only. Weekend shifts required. Guaranteed 60 hours per two-week period. Highlights: - 13-week travel assignment at a 407-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital - Level II Trauma Center recognized as Alaska's Best Hospital by U.S. News & World Report - Diverse surgical caseload including trauma (MVA, GSW, orthopedic, neuro), bariatric, robotics, spine, ENT, urology, vascular, gynecology, and pediatric procedures - Advanced surgical technology including XI Robot, Stealth, and Mazor Robot Spine systems - Epic charting system with 40 hours of paid orientation - Free parking and scrubs provided Requirements: - Active Alaska RN license (must be in hand for immediate consideration; pending licenses accepted for screening) - BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred - Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required - Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted - Epic charting system experience required - Level II Trauma experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred - Extensive OR skills including scrubbing and circulating for general, orthopedic, neuro, trauma, vascular, ENT, gynecology, urology, thoracic, and pediatric surgical cases - Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility - Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declinations not accepted) - Two professional references covering one year within the last three years - Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) - Ability to float to similar units within scope as needed Why Join Us?
