Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $3,600 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Cath Lab Location: Baltimore, MD Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 10/26/2026 Shift: Day, 4x10 Hours (07:00 AM–05:30 PM) Job Responsibilities Work in the Cardiac Invasive Cath Lab as a Cath Lab RN with strong independent scrubbing skills. Scrub and assist with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures while maintaining a sterile field. Perform accurate patient monitoring and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and dysrhythmias. Perform EKG lead placement and assist with hemodynamic monitoring. Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Participate in PCI, PTCA, stent placement, LHC, RHC, CTO, coronary atherectomy, and thrombectomy procedures. Assist with TAVR, MitraClip, TriClip, ASD/PFO closure, and other structural heart procedures. Assist with IABP and Impella placement/removal, temporary and permanent pacemaker procedures, and ECMO procedures. Assist with pericardiocentesis, aortic valvuloplasty, septostomy, and other advanced cardiac procedures. Maintain strict sterile technique and follow isolation precautions and PPE requirements. Respond appropriately to rapid response and code situations. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technicians, and other interdisciplinary team members to provide safe patient care. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience ; strong Cath Lab experience required. 2 years of Cath Lab experience required for candidates with RCIS. Candidates with RT(R)/RTR credentials without RCIS require 3 years of Cath Lab experience . Recent 6–12 months of Cath Lab experience with strong independent scrubbing skills required. Travel experience required ; first-time travelers may be considered with 3 years of strong Cath Lab experience. Community hospital experience required. Teaching hospital and Level I Trauma experience preferred. RN must be able to scrub Cath Lab cases independently . Patient ratio experience: 1:1.
