MRI Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
• Two years' experience as an MRI Tech
• BLS certification
• Florida state license in Radiology Technology
• ARRT MRI registry

Assignment Details:

• Shift hours: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Every other weekend call required
• On call after 11:00 PM
• 24-hour Saturday and Sunday call rotation among the team
• Equipment used: GE Explorer 1.5 tesla
• Documentation systems: Meditech and GE PACS
• Typical procedures include MRI Neuro, Body, MSK, Angio, and Breast

Location Highlights

Aventura offers access to both coastal recreation and urban convenience in South Florida. Aventura Mall is one of the largest shopping destinations in the country, and Sunny Isles Beach is about 10 minutes away for waterfront time between shifts. Oleta River State Park is roughly 20 minutes away for kayaking and biking, and the Brightline station in nearby Aventura provides regional transit access. Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach is within about 15 minutes and combines dining, entertainment, and horse racing, while Miami and Fort Lauderdale are both reachable in about 30 to 40 minutes.
