Job Title: Skilled Laborer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled laborer to assist with a renovation project based in Damariscotta, ME at the Lincoln Health-Miles Campus. The project involves transforming the third floor of the hospital into a new oncology wing.

• Assist the site superintendent with various tasks.
• Patch holes in drywall.
• Perform light carpentry work.
• Conduct site clean-up when necessary.

• General labor
• Construction experience
• Carpentry and framing skills
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and power equipment

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar construction role
• Ability to read blueprints
• Capability in finish work, site clean-up, and saw cuts
• Approachable demeanor suitable for a hospital setting
• Open to candidates with a proactive mindset willing to learn and take ownership of tasks

The skilled laborer will work in a hospital setting alongside another team member managing the project. The dress code requires steel-toed boots and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. As the hospital remains operational during the project, maintaining a respectful and presentable appearance is essential.

This is a Contract position based out of Damariscotta, ME.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
