JOB SUMMARY:

As a Machinist, you'll be at the heart of our operations, responsible for machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials within tolerance specifications. You'll use your expertise to interpret instructions and blueprints and operate a range of equipment including manual and CNC lathes and mills, horizontal and vertical boring mills, horizontal saws, overhead cranes, forklifts, and more.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 3-5 years of machine shop experience, ideally in a hydraulics industry setting. Experience in other industries will also be considered. Skills: Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, and indicators. CNC and manual tooling experience will be required Attributes: Strong attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Lifting/Carrying 40 lbs. Lift/Carry and 50lb pull Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers. Dexterity Normal Frequent standing/sitting up and down stairs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
